Whenever I'm disappointed with my spot in life,
I stop and think about little Jamie Scott. Jamie was trying
out for a part in a school play. Her mother told me that she
had her heart set on being in it, though she feared she would
not be chosen. On the day the parts were announced, I went with
her to collect her after school. Jamie rushed up to her, eyes
shining with pride and excitment. "Guess what, Mum,"
she shouted, and then said those words that remain a lesson
to me: "I'v been chosen to clap and cheer."
Moral: Every part and role in life is important
Thoughts to ponder on:
As you can see from the story, little Jamie
wasn't chosen to take part in the actual drama itself. But she
is a part of the audience(clap and cheer). Jamie is only a little
child , yet she can see the greatness and importance of every
single role in life. We should understand that everyone around
you, including yourself, plays a role in the society. Whether
these roles are huge(minister, manager, 9-A1 student) or small(clerk,
average student), they all play a part in lifes of different
person.
Why don't you turn around, and think about
yourself--How you play an important role of other's life?
How you makes the difference for your friends?
And how does all the friends around you play
a part of your life? Everyone around you is special to you,
don't neglect them.
And you are special to them too, don't lose
them.
